Jewellery Repair
This course is designed for experienced jewellers. It will cover resizing and retipping items and delve into commonly found problems within the jewellery industry.
The first half of the course first we will explore how to resize a ring by adding or removing shank wire handmade by the student. We will also cover using the gem and ring stretchers
The second half of the course will cover re-tipping worn or damaged claws, and replacing stones using hand drawn wire and the laserStar laser welders.
